CAME garage door remote replacement: identify yours
CAME is an Italian company that makes openers for garage doors and gates, and its remotes turn up on both. Some are fixed code and some are rolling code, and which one you need depends on your receiver.
Which CAME remote do you have?
The main families:
- TOP-432EE is CAME’s fixed-code remote on 433.92 MHz. It replaced the older TOP-432NA, which is also fixed code.
- Rolling-code remotes, such as the ATOMO and TWIN ranges, work with CAME receivers set up for rolling code.
CAME remotes are often used on gates as well as garage doors. If one remote opens both, tell us, because it helps us work out the receiver.
Fixed-code CAME remotes can usually be copied, and rolling-code ones can’t. Rolling code vs fixed code explains why.
No clear label? What to photograph
These usually settle it:
- The remote, front and back. The model name is usually printed on it.
- The receiver or control box near the door or gate, with its cover on, and any label.
- The motor label, if you can reach it.
