About the Somfy Keytis 4 RTS

The Keytis 4 RTS is a pocket-sized four-button remote for Somfy’s RTS garage and roller door range, covering Dexxo, Axroll, Freeroll, Rollixo and Axorn operators. It’s sold under a few different names, with or without ‘NS’, but they’re all the same remote. It works across virtually all Somfy RTS motors and receivers, making it a flexible choice if you’re not sure of the exact model fitted.

What it looks like: A black pocket-sized fob with four black buttons and a small warning light, plus a coloured clip that can be swapped.

Don’t mix it up: It’s easily mixed up with the Keytis 4 io, which has an extra stop button on the front and small buttons on the back, and the two are not compatible.

How it’s set up

This is a rolling-code remote: its signal changes every time you press it, so a universal copying remote won’t work. It has to be paired with your system, either at the motor or receiver, usually with a learn or program button, or from a remote that already works. It normally takes a couple of minutes.
