WhichRemote Send a photo

Terms of sale

You’re buying a genuine replacement garage door remote, programmed where your system allows it, delivered in the UK for £3.99. You can cancel within 14 days, and the law protects you if anything’s faulty.

Who we are

WhichRemote is a trading name of Freddi Lavender. You can reach us at info.whichremote@gmail.com.

What you’re buying

Each remote we sell is the manufacturer’s genuine remote for the system matched from your photo. Where your system allows it, we program it before it leaves us, so it arrives working. Some systems have to be paired at the motor. If yours is one of them, we’ll send you instructions and help by email.

Matching from your photo

Our site suggests a remote from what it can read in your photo, and tells you how sure it is. If you’re not sure it’s right, send us the photo before you buy and we’ll check it first.

Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and are shown before you pay. UK delivery is £3.99 per order. Payment is taken by Stripe when you place your order. We never see your full card details.

Delivery

We deliver to UK addresses only, and we’ll email you when your order is on its way. If we can’t deliver within 30 days, we’ll tell you, and you can cancel for a full refund.

The Correct Remote Guarantee

An optional £6.99 add-on at checkout. If the remote we identified turns out to be the wrong one for your system, we’ll replace it with the right one or refund you. To use it, email us with your order details. We may ask for a photo of your system to see what went wrong.

The guarantee is on top of your legal rights below, not instead of them.

Cancelling your order

You can cancel within 14 days of receiving your remote, for any reason. Just email us to say so. You don’t need to use a special form.

Then send the remote back to us (email us and we’ll send you the returns address) within 14 days of telling us. We’ll refund the price and the standard delivery charge within 14 days of getting it back, or of you showing us you’ve sent it. You pay for returning it, unless it’s faulty or not what you ordered. We may reduce the refund if the remote has been handled more than you’d need to check it.

Faulty remotes

If your remote is faulty, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Within 30 days of delivery you can reject it for a full refund. After that, you can ask us to repair or replace it. Email us and we’ll sort it out.

Questions and complaints

Email info.whichremote@gmail.com and we’ll reply as quickly as we can, usually the same day.

The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
