About the Nice FLO1R-S

This single-button fob is Nice’s rolling-code FLO1R-S, using a 52-bit rolling code rather than fixed switches. It works with the rolling-code side of Nice’s FLOX, SMXI, SMX2 and OXI/OX2 receiver ranges, and it has since been replaced in Nice’s line-up by the Era Flor FLO1RE.

Don’t mix it up: It shares its case with the fixed-code FLO1, which has internal switches that this rolling-code version doesn’t, so looks alone won’t tell them apart.

How it’s set up

This is a rolling-code remote: its signal changes every time you press it, so a universal copying remote won’t work. It has to be paired with your system, either at the motor or receiver, usually with a learn or program button, or from a remote that already works. It normally takes a couple of minutes.
