About the Nice FLO4R-S

In black or blue with four buttons, this is Nice’s rolling-code FLO4R-S, using a 52-bit FloR code and giving four channels of control. It’s been discontinued in favour of the FLO4RE, and it was also the remote supplied with Nice’s SHEL garage door kits.

What it looks like: This fob is black or blue with four blue buttons.

Don’t mix it up: It’s easily confused with the similar-looking fixed-code FLO series, which use internal switches rather than a rolling code.

How it’s set up

This is a rolling-code remote: its signal changes every time you press it, so a universal copying remote won’t work. It has to be paired with your system, either at the motor or receiver, usually with a learn or program button, or from a remote that already works. It normally takes a couple of minutes.
