Ellard Genesis White Transmitter

The Ellard Genesis White Transmitter is a rolling-code remote on 433 MHz, so a cheap universal remote can’t copy it. It’s paired at your motor, or from a remote that already works, and we send simple steps for yours.

About the Ellard Genesis White Transmitter

This white handset, formerly sold by Ellard as the white Athena remote, works with Ellard’s Genesis control panel and with the white second generation Athena control panel for roller shutter and garage doors. It has separate up, stop and down buttons under a sliding cover and uses a rolling code. It is not interchangeable with the older black or cream Athena system.

Is this your remote?

What it looks like: A fob with a white plastic case with chrome-effect trim, a sliding cover, and three buttons underneath for up, stop and down.

Don’t mix it up: It looks similar to Ellard’s grey Genesis handset and to the black handset used on Ellard’s older Athena system, so match the colour to your existing panel rather than going by shape alone.

Also sold as: White Athena, Ellard Athena Handset - White, Athena 2nd Generation transmitter, product code 15264A.

Still not sure? Upload a photo below and we’ll match it, or send it and we’ll check it by hand.

How it’s set up

This is a rolling-code remote: its signal changes every time you press it, so a universal copying remote won’t work. It has to be paired with your system, either at the motor or receiver, usually with a learn or program button, or from a remote that already works. It normally takes a couple of minutes. Rolling code vs fixed code explains why.

We email simple steps for your system with every order, and if it won’t pair, email us and we’ll walk you through it.

Seen it cheaper somewhere else?

Check it’s the genuine Ellard remote. Many cheaper listings are copies or “compatible” remotes, not the manufacturer’s own. A genuine Ellard remote has the Ellard name on it, usually on the front or on the label on the back, along with the model name. Copies often leave the name off, and some won’t pair with a rolling-code system at all. A universal remote that works by copying can’t copy a rolling code.

Every remote we sell is the genuine Ellard remote, with set-up help included.
