About the Nice FLO2RE

This black two-button fob is Nice’s Era Flor FLO2RE, a 52-bit FloR rolling-code remote that replaces all of the older FLOR-S models. It works with the full range of FloR-coded receivers, including SMXI, SMX2, FLOX2R/FLOXI2R and OXI/OX2, and it’s also supplied with Nice’s non-BD Spy garage door kits.

What it looks like: A black fob with two black buttons.

Don’t mix it up: It looks almost identical to the Era One ON2E, so it’s worth reading the model code on the back rather than judging by appearance.

How it’s set up

This is a rolling-code remote: its signal changes every time you press it, so a universal copying remote won’t work. It has to be paired with your system, either at the motor or receiver, usually with a learn or program button, or from a remote that already works. It normally takes a couple of minutes.
