About the Nice ON3EBD

This black fob has four white keys, three for commands and one status key that changes colour to show what’s happening, and it’s Nice’s bidirectional Era One BD, combining two-way communication with O-Code rolling security. It can also work with older Nice plug-in and external receivers running in one-way mode.

What it looks like: A black fob with four white keys, three for commands plus a status key, and a light that changes colour.

Don’t mix it up: It shares its case with the ON2E and ON4E, so look for the extra white status key marked ‘i’ to identify it.

How it’s set up

This is a rolling-code remote: its signal changes every time you press it, so a universal copying remote won’t work. It has to be paired with your system, either at the motor or receiver, usually with a learn or program button, or from a remote that already works. It normally takes a couple of minutes.
