About the Nice ON4E

This black four-button fob is Nice’s Era One ON4E, a 72-bit O-Code rolling-code remote that’s also compatible with FloR receivers. It works with Nice’s OXI, OX2 and SMXI ranges and can also be configured through Nice’s Opera or O-Box system.

What it looks like: A black fob with four black buttons and a keyring or dashboard clip.

Don’t mix it up: It shares its case with the two-button ON2E, so count the buttons to be sure which one you have.

How it’s set up

This is a rolling-code remote: its signal changes every time you press it, so a universal copying remote won’t work. It has to be paired with your system, either at the motor or receiver, usually with a learn or program button, or from a remote that already works. It normally takes a couple of minutes.
