LiftMaster TX4EVF remote

The LiftMaster TX4EVF is a rolling-code remote on 868.35 MHz, so a cheap universal remote can’t copy it. It’s paired at your motor, or from a remote that already works, and we send simple steps for yours.

About the LiftMaster TX4EVF

The TX4EVF is LiftMaster’s current European remote, a car-key style fob with four buttons and a blue light. It works across the EV range of openers, including the LM60EV, LM80EV, LM100EV and LM130EV families and their S, F, FA and X versions, plus the LM50EV, LM55EV and LM3800W models. It works the same way as the earlier TX2EV, TX4EV and TX4EVS remotes.

Is this your remote?

Look on the label or the back of the remote for:

TX4EVF041ATX4EVF868MHz868 MHzChamberlain GmbH

What it looks like: A black car-key style fob with four large black buttons, a blue light and a keyring loop.

Don’t mix it up: It uses the same car-key body as the TX4UNIF, but that one has a white light rather than blue and runs on a different frequency, so the two aren’t interchangeable.

Also sold as: 041ATX4EVF, TX4EVF-01.

How it’s set up

This is a rolling-code remote: its signal changes every time you press it, so a universal copying remote won’t work. It has to be paired with your system, either at the motor or receiver, usually with a learn or program button, or from a remote that already works. It normally takes a couple of minutes. Rolling code vs fixed code explains why.

We email simple steps for your system with every order, and if it won’t pair, email us and we’ll walk you through it.
