LiftMaster TX4UNI remote

The LiftMaster TX4UNI is a rolling-code remote on 433 MHz, so a cheap universal remote can’t copy it. It’s paired at your motor, or from a remote that already works, and we send simple steps for yours.

About the LiftMaster TX4UNI

The TX4UNI is LiftMaster’s first-generation universal 433 MHz remote, later replaced by the TX4UNIS and then the TX4UNIF. It works with Chamberlain and LiftMaster openers fitted with 433 MHz wireless, including the LM60EV, LM80EV and LM100EV along with the 860EV and STAR1000EV receivers, though it excludes the LM50K, ML510 and HE500AN.

What it works with

  • All Chamberlain LiftMaster garage and gate openers 'equipped with Chamberlain 433MHz wireless' except LM50K, ML510, HE500AN
  • LM60EV/LM80EV/LM100EV
  • 860EV
  • STAR1000EV

How it’s set up

This is a rolling-code remote: its signal changes every time you press it, so a universal copying remote won’t work. It has to be paired with your system, either at the motor or receiver, usually with a learn or program button, or from a remote that already works. It normally takes a couple of minutes. Rolling code vs fixed code explains why.

We email simple steps for your system with every order, and if it won’t pair, email us and we’ll walk you through it.
