About the Garador 4-button micro hand transmitter (BiSecur)

This is Garador’s version of Hörmann’s HSE 4 BS keyfob, printed with the Garador name rather than Hörmann’s, and it works the same way. It suits GaraMatic 9, GaraMatic 10 and GaraMatic 20 operators, plus any Hörmann BiSecur operator, and it can switch to a fixed-code mode to run older 868 MHz blue-button Garador or Hörmann operators from 2005 to 2011. It isn’t compatible with the earlier 40 MHz grey-button systems.

Is this your remote?

Look on the label or the back of the remote for:

HSE4-868-BS868 MHz

What it looks like: A small black keyfob with a textured matt finish, four buttons in a cross pattern, a light, a keyring loop, and end caps that may be black or chrome-effect.

Don’t mix it up: The light on this rolling-code version flashes blue and red alternately, unlike the plain red light on the older fixed-code blue-button units, which is a quick way to tell them apart.

This is a rolling-code remote: its signal changes every time you press it, so a universal copying remote won’t work. It has to be paired with your system, either at the motor or receiver, usually with a learn or program button, or from a remote that already works. It normally takes a couple of minutes.
