Hörmann HSE 4 BS remote
The Hörmann HSE 4 BS is a rolling-code remote on 868.3 MHz, so a cheap universal remote can’t copy it. It’s paired at your motor, or from a remote that already works, and we send simple steps for yours.

About the Hörmann HSE 4 BS
The HSE 4 BS is the standard keyfob for Hörmann’s Series 4 generation of operators from 2019 onwards, and it’s the current replacement for the older HSE 2 BS. It has four buttons in a cross pattern and works with SupraMatic E4, SupraMatic P4, ProMatic 4 and ProMatic Akku operators, RollMatic OD doors, and any BiSecur-compatible operator or receiver. It can also switch to a fixed-code mode to run 868 MHz Hörmann or Garador operators built between 2005 and 2012.
Is this your remote?
Look on the label or the back of the remote for:
HSE 4 BSHSE4-868-BS868 MHz
What it looks like: A small black keyfob with a textured finish, four buttons in a cross pattern, a keyring loop and a light at the top; the end caps may be chrome-effect or black.
Don’t mix it up: It’s easy to confuse with the HS 4 BS, which is a larger handset without a keyring loop, so check whether you need something to carry on a keyring.
Also sold as: HSE 4 BiSecur, HSE4-868-BS, HSE 4 868-BS, 4-button micro hand transmitter, Hörmann article 4511736, Hörmann article 4511561.

What it works with
- SupraMatic E 4 / SupraMatic P 4
- ProMatic 4
- ProMatic Akku
- RollMatic OD
- All BiSecur operators and receivers
- 868 MHz fixed-code operators 2005-2012 via fixed-code mode
How it’s set up
This is a rolling-code remote: its signal changes every time you press it, so a universal copying remote won’t work. It has to be paired with your system, either at the motor or receiver, usually with a learn or program button, or from a remote that already works. It normally takes a couple of minutes. Rolling code vs fixed code explains why.
We email simple steps for your system with every order, and if it won’t pair, email us and we’ll walk you through it.
