About the Hörmann HSD 2 BS

The HSD 2 BS is a padlock-shaped metal fob with two buttons on a rubber pad and a detachable key cable loop, working with any BiSecur-compatible Hörmann operator. It can also switch to a fixed-code mode to run older 868 MHz operators.

What it looks like: This padlock-shaped metal fob has a round head with two buttons on a black rubber pad, a two-colour light and a detachable key cable loop; finished in aluminium-look or chrome.

Don’t mix it up: It has the same padlock shape as the older fixed-code HSD 2, so check whether yours uses BiSecur or the older fixed-code system before buying either.

How it’s set up

This is a rolling-code remote: its signal changes every time you press it, so a universal copying remote won’t work. It has to be paired with your system, either at the motor or receiver, usually with a learn or program button, or from a remote that already works. It normally takes a couple of minutes.
