About the Garador HSE2 Micro 40 MHz hand transmitter (grey buttons)

This is Garador’s small grey keyfob with two grey buttons, built for Garador and Hörmann 40 MHz operators from before 2005, including early EcoMatic models.

Is this your remote?

Look on the label or the back of the remote for:

HSE240

What it looks like: A small grey keyfob with two grey buttons.

Don’t mix it up: It’s easy to mix up with the later blue-button units made between 2005 and 2011, so check the button colour is grey rather than blue before buying.

Also sold as: Garador part 677, Garador/Hormann Remote Control Handset 40 Mhz.

Still not sure? Upload a photo below and we’ll match it, or send it and we’ll check it by hand.

How it’s set up

This is a fixed-code remote: it sends the same signal every time, so you set it to match the code your door already uses, either by copying it from your current remote or by setting the same code inside it. Rolling code vs fixed code explains the difference.

We email simple steps for your system with every order, and if it won’t pair, email us and we’ll walk you through it.
