About the Hörmann HSE 2 (868 MHz)

The HSE 2 is a small grey keyfob with two light blue buttons from Hörmann’s 868 MHz fixed-code range, now discontinued and replaced by the HSE 2 BS and HSE 4 BS. It works with Series 1 and 2 SupraMatic operators, Series 2 ProMatic, EcoMatic, and RotaMatic, STA and DTA gate operators fitted with 868 MHz fixed-code receivers, plus Garador operators from 2005 to 2011.

Is this your remote?

Look on the label or the back of the remote for:

HSE2-868868 MHz

What it looks like: A small grey keyfob with a keyring loop, two light blue buttons and a red light.

Don’t mix it up: It uses the same case as the HSE 2 40 MHz version, so check that the buttons are light blue rather than grey before choosing this one.

Also sold as: HSE2-868, HSE 2 868, HSE2, 2-button micro hand transmitter, Hörmann article 437452.

Still not sure? Upload a photo below and we’ll match it, or send it and we’ll check it by hand.

What it works with

  • SupraMatic Series 1/2 and ProMatic Series 2 868 MHz operators
  • EcoMatic
  • RotaMatic / STA / DTA gate operators with 868 fixed-code receivers
  • HET 24 receiver
  • Garador 868 MHz operators 2005-2011

How it’s set up

This is a fixed-code remote: it sends the same signal every time, so you set it to match the code your door already uses, either by copying it from your current remote or by setting the same code inside it. Rolling code vs fixed code explains the difference.

We email simple steps for your system with every order, and if it won’t pair, email us and we’ll walk you through it.
