About the Hörmann HSZ 2 BS

The HSZ 2 BS is a two-button remote built to plug into a car’s cigarette-lighter socket, working with any BiSecur-compatible Hörmann operator and, in fixed-code mode, with older 868 MHz operators too. Unlike some other Hörmann handsets, it doesn’t offer a door status check.

How it’s set up

This is a rolling-code remote: its signal changes every time you press it, so a universal copying remote won’t work. It has to be paired with your system, either at the motor or receiver, usually with a learn or program button, or from a remote that already works. It normally takes a couple of minutes.
