Teckentrup Pearl remote
The Teckentrup Pearl is a rolling-code remote on 868.8 MHz, so a cheap universal remote can’t copy it. It’s paired at your motor, or from a remote that already works, and we send simple steps for yours.

About the Teckentrup Pearl
The Pearl is a four-button remote supplied as standard with the CarTeck Drive 600 and Drive Pro 600 garage door operators. It uses a changing code each time it is pressed. It is made by Sommer, the same company behind the whole Pearl range used on CarTeck Drive.
Is this your remote?
Look on the label or the back of the remote for:
Pearl 4018
What it looks like: A black and silver fob with four buttons.
Don’t mix it up: It is easily confused with the two-button Pearl Twin, which is the same shape and colour but has fewer buttons, and with the Pearl Vibe, which looks similar but vibrates when pressed.
Also sold as: Sommer Pearl, 4-Command Pearl, 4018V000, Pearl 4018.

How it’s set up
This is a rolling-code remote: its signal changes every time you press it, so a universal copying remote won’t work. It has to be paired with your system, either at the motor or receiver, usually with a learn or program button, or from a remote that already works. It normally takes a couple of minutes. Rolling code vs fixed code explains why.
We email simple steps for your system with every order, and if it won’t pair, email us and we’ll walk you through it.
Seen it cheaper somewhere else?
Check it’s the genuine Teckentrup remote. Many cheaper listings are copies or “compatible” remotes, not the manufacturer’s own. A genuine Teckentrup remote has the Teckentrup name on it, usually on the front or on the label on the back, along with the model name. Copies often leave the name off, and some won’t pair with a rolling-code system at all. A universal remote that works by copying can’t copy a rolling code.
Every remote we sell is the genuine Teckentrup remote, with set-up help included.
