Eurodrive garage door remote replacement: identify yours

Which Eurodrive remote do you have?

The ranges you’re most likely to find:

• Eurokit is Eurodrive’s standard system. Its Eurofob handset is a single-channel fob, paired to a blue-grey Eurokit receiver box marked UP, STOP and DOWN.
• Qualkit uses the Qualfob2 handset, and a premium Qualprem2 version, both two-button fobs that run on 868MHz rather than the 433MHz used elsewhere in the range.
• DRS900 is a separate system sold with a family of DRS9-numbered fobs, from the two-button DRS901 up to the multi-channel DRS905. The same fobs have also turned up under AE09-numbered part codes.

These systems don’t share handsets, so a Eurokit fob won’t pair with a Qualkit or DRS900 receiver, even if the fob shapes look alike.

All three ranges use rolling code, so a universal copying remote won’t work; a new handset has to be paired directly to your own receiver.

No clear label? What to photograph

These usually settle it:

• Your handset, front and back, so we can see its shape, buttons and any model number.
• The receiver box on the wall or ceiling near the door, including any label or model text.
