Ansa Metallo Henderson remote

The Ansa Metallo Henderson is a rolling-code remote on 433 MHz, so a cheap universal remote can’t copy it. It’s paired at your motor, or from a remote that already works, and we send simple steps for yours.

About the Ansa Metallo Henderson

The Metallo Henderson is a genuine replacement for the Ansa ATX2 Henderson and Ansa Goofy Henderson remotes, using Ansa’s Henderson specific coding. It only works with Ansa control boxes built for Henderson coding, identified by an H marked inside the box, and is not compatible with the standard Ansa Metallo or with universal cloning remotes.

Is this your remote?

Look on the label or the back of the remote for:

HENDERSON

What it looks like: A fob with a black case, silver buttons and four buttons.

Don’t mix it up: Looks similar to both the standard Ansa Metallo and to generic universal cloning remotes, but neither will work in its place; check for an H marking inside the control box before ordering.

Also sold as: ATX2 Henderson.

Still not sure? Upload a photo below and we’ll match it, or send it and we’ll check it by hand.

How it’s set up

This is a rolling-code remote: its signal changes every time you press it, so a universal copying remote won’t work. It has to be paired with your system, either at the motor or receiver, usually with a learn or program button, or from a remote that already works. It normally takes a couple of minutes. Rolling code vs fixed code explains why.

We email simple steps for your system with every order, and if it won’t pair, email us and we’ll walk you through it.

Seen it cheaper somewhere else?

Check it’s the genuine Ansa remote. Many cheaper listings are copies or “compatible” remotes, not the manufacturer’s own. A genuine Ansa remote has the Ansa name on it, usually on the front or on the label on the back, along with the model name. Copies often leave the name off, and some won’t pair with a rolling-code system at all. A universal remote that works by copying can’t copy a rolling code.

Every remote we sell is the genuine Ansa remote, with set-up help included.
