Novoferm Mini-Novotron 522 remote

The Novoferm Mini-Novotron 522 is a rolling-code remote on 433.92 MHz, so a cheap universal remote can’t copy it. It’s paired at your motor, or from a remote that already works, and we send simple steps for yours.

About the Novoferm Mini-Novotron 522

The Mini-Novotron 522 is a two-button rolling code remote that works with Novoferm’s current Novomatic 443 and Novomatic Speed garage door operators, as well as NovoPort. It uses a changing code each time it is pressed, for security.

Is this your remote?

Look on the label or the back of the remote for:

Mini-Novotron 522

What it looks like: A small fob with two round buttons, in black with a black band, or in silver and white on the Design version.

Don’t mix it up: It can be confused with the three or four-button Novotron 523 and 524, which are a similar size and shape but have more buttons and, on the 523, a small status light.

Also sold as: Novotron 522, Novo 522, Mini-Novotron 522 Design.

How it’s set up

This is a rolling-code remote: its signal changes every time you press it, so a universal copying remote won’t work. It has to be paired with your system, either at the motor or receiver, usually with a learn or program button, or from a remote that already works. It normally takes a couple of minutes. Rolling code vs fixed code explains why.

We email simple steps for your system with every order, and if it won’t pair, email us and we’ll walk you through it.

Seen it cheaper somewhere else?

Check it’s the genuine Novoferm remote. Many cheaper listings are copies or “compatible” remotes, not the manufacturer’s own. A genuine Novoferm remote has the Novoferm name on it, usually on the front or on the label on the back, along with the model name. Copies often leave the name off, and some won’t pair with a rolling-code system at all. A universal remote that works by copying can’t copy a rolling code.

Every remote we sell is the genuine Novoferm remote, with set-up help included.
