Gliderol garage door remote replacement: identify yours

Which Gliderol remote do you have?

The ones you’re most likely to find:

• TM-868C (new style) is a dark grey fob with one large blue button and two smaller ones, on 868MHz. Gliderol lists it for its GRD+ motors and the Roll.in.One retrofit motor.
• G+ is a white teardrop-shaped fob with three dark grey buttons and the Gliderol logo. Gliderol lists it for the Roll.in.One retrofit motor, GRD+ motors and the Genesis sectional door operator.
• RW1 is a slim dark grey fob with four blue buttons in a row, sold for the older Rol-a-matic RW-1 opener on 433MHz.
• Old style is a light grey one-button fob on 27MHz, with a code set by small switches inside the case.

These handsets work on different frequencies and with different control boxes, so they do not swap with each other.

The old style handset uses a fixed code matched to switches in the control box. Gliderol describes its newer systems as rolling code, so each new handset has to be paired with your own control box or motor.

No clear label? What to photograph

These usually settle it:

• Your handset, front and back, so we can see its buttons, colour and any logo or text.
• The control box or motor on the wall or door, including any label, and the circuit board if the cover is off.
