How to teach a Somfy Keasy S handset to a Keasy S garage door motor

For: Somfy Keasy S garage door motor

Before you start

• The motor’s force setting must already be done, or the door will only move while you hold the button. It’s in the motor’s own manual.

Teach the handset

1. Press and hold PROG on the motor head until the motor’s light blinks. The motor now waits for about 30 seconds.
2. Within those 30 seconds, press the handset’s button and hold it until the motor’s light goes out. It stays out for about 2 seconds and then starts blinking again.
3. Press the handset button again and hold it until the light goes out. The light stays out for about 2 seconds, comes on for about 2 seconds, and goes out again. The handset is learned.

Deleting remotes

• To delete every handset, hold PROG until the light blinks, then press PROG and the force-setting button together for about 8 seconds. The light blinks faster and all handsets are deleted.
