How to copy a Somfy Keygo 4 RTS from a remote that already works

For: Any Somfy RTS motor or receiver that already works with a Somfy remote that has a PROG button on its back (such as a Telis)

Before you start

• Stand near the motor.
• You need the working remote in one hand and the new Keygo 4 RTS in the other.

Copy the remote

1. On the back of the working remote, press and hold PROG until the motor jogs (moves a little).
2. On the new Keygo 4 RTS, press and hold the outer left and outer right buttons together until its indicator light flashes.
3. Briefly press the button on the new Keygo that should operate the motor. The motor jogs to confirm.

• Each time you do this it adds one new button. Repeat for each button you want.

Somfy’s guide is written for blinds, awnings and garage motors alike, so a garage motor may show its confirmation with its light flashing instead of moving. It doesn’t say what to do if the working remote has no PROG button on its back. Adding the remote at the motor itself is a separate guide.
