About the Neco TX4
The TX4 is the earlier fixed code NECO handset, listed by retailers as the black handset for early MK1 boxes. Britalia lists a black Version 1 handset of the same size, though it does not give the name TX4. Retailers describe the grey TR4 as the rolling code handset that does not work in its place, and one retailer lists the TX4 as discontinued.

Seen it cheaper somewhere else?
Check it’s the genuine Neco remote. Many cheaper listings are copies or “compatible” remotes, not the manufacturer’s own. A genuine Neco remote has the Neco name on it, usually on the front or on the label on the back, along with the model name. With a fixed-code system a copy can sometimes work, but it isn’t the manufacturer’s remote and quality varies, so check the listing says genuine and the photos show the Neco name.
