About the Gliderol Old Style Handset (27MHz)
This is Gliderol’s older one-button handset on 27MHz, with a code set by small switches inside the case. Gliderol says the code has to be matched by hand to the switches in the control box, and that units made before 1993 use two banks of eight switches while later ones use one bank of nine. Retailers list it under names such as TM27, GTX2 and GTX3.
Is this your remote?
What it looks like: A light grey rounded-rectangle fob with a single round blue button, a blue Gliderol logo panel below it and a small keyring loop.
Don’t mix it up: The single blue button and blue logo panel tell it apart from the newer three-button Gliderol handsets.

Seen it cheaper somewhere else?
Check it’s the genuine Gliderol remote. Many cheaper listings are copies or “compatible” remotes, not the manufacturer’s own. A genuine Gliderol remote has the Gliderol name on it, usually on the front or on the label on the back, along with the model name. With a fixed-code system a copy can sometimes work, but it isn’t the manufacturer’s remote and quality varies, so check the listing says genuine and the photos show the Gliderol name.
